Perfectly proportioned and sized, this vintage-inspired AVI-8 Flyboy Centenary Edition wristwatch is reminiscent of those found on early pocket watch conversions from the early 1900s. The crown in addition to its serrated edge design has the blue and round circles of the Royal Air Force roundel applied as an epoxy filled cabochon. In the style of the watches of the era, as well as to provide clarity and legibility in time readout the rotor and subdial seconds display at the 5 o'clock position, with a date display at the 3 o'clock position.  A sturdy yet supple handstitched buffalo hide leather strap that is extremely comfortable and long-lasting.
