When you're thinking of The Margarita, you're thinking of a good time!   History has it that the margarita was invented halfway between Tijuana and Rosarito, Baja California in 1938 by Carlos 'Danny' Herrera, the owner of the Rancho La Gloria Restaurant.   He created this drink for Marjorie King, who was a good friend, and a former Ziegfield dancer who was allergic to all spirits, except tequila.
