United States Thunderbirds Space Pen

 

Lt. Colonel Ron Mumm, Commander of the Thunderbirds, asked Paul Fisher of Fisher Pens to design a pen with a gripping knob to allow easy removal and replacement from the small, lower leg pocket of the pilots' flight suits.  The United States Thunderbirds Space Pen was a great success and is still used as the official writing instrument of Thunderbirds pilots. The gripping knob features the Thunderbirds logo to honor these magnificent aviators and it's an actual AG7 model pen that is used on all the manned space flights.  Great gift idea from Aviator Mercantile Post!
